Eastside Entertainment - More Choices or Less?

With the recent announcement of the Bellevue Blackhawks ABA basketball team signing a lease to play their home games this season at the Meydenbauer Convention Center, and The Parlor Billiards and Spirits soon to be open in Lincoln Square things are looking brighter for entertainment options on the Eastside.

At the same time, the Eastside has taken a couple of recent hits, when the Comedy Night at the Paragon Hotel was discontinued and the 8th Street Sports Bar was shut down and their building was demolished.

Even though there seems to be a big call for a growing nightlife in Bellevue and on the Eastside, I'm doubting if it is really wanted or will be supported. It was really discouraging to us at Eastside Entertainment that only 1 of over 100 of our recent surveys sent out to local entertainment and hospitality businesses was even returned to us.

Eastside Entertainment is here to help - but will Eastsiders allow us to? Please write to me at Live@EastsideEntertainment.com

Lack of Entertainment on the Eastside???

During a quick search on the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce website, there were ZERO bars, dance clubs, nightclubs, theatres, or even taverns. On the Redmond Chamber of Commerce website, there was wasn't even an entertainment listing in their membership directory.

Still the same, I know there are things to do on the Eastside, I just believe there is a lack of promotion of them. Let's let people know what is going on around here!

If you know an Eastside Hotspot, or even a good happy hour, please let us know about it by writing to: Live@EastsideEntertainment.com
